Smoothies are the perfect meal or snack for busy people, as well as after workouts when you just don't feel like eating a full meal. They are nutrient dense and macro-balanced, providing protein, fats, carbs and micronutrients for a well balanced meal.
This Simple Green Smoothie is a nice and easy, great if you are just starting out on the smoothie train!
INGREDIENTS
(Serves 1)
2 handfuls spinach
1/4 avocado
1/2 frozen banana
250ml Unsweetened Almond Milk (or milk of choice)
1 serve of clean Vanilla Protein Powder (or 2 eggs and some vanilla bean paste)
1 teaspoon chia seeds
Pinch of cinnamon
1/2 cup ice
Optional: 1 date for extra sweetness
INSTRUCTIONS
Add all ingredients to a blender or Nutribullet and blend until smooth.
